Neighborhood Associations
Get Involved in your Neighborhood
The best way to get involved is locally! In Kirkland we have 13 “Neighborhood Associations” each which span much further than your typical “NA.” Kirkland has a history of these hyper local organizations being the source of 2-way communication with city government - in short we believe Neighborhood Associations are worth protecting, supporting and empowering as a voice into city hall.
While there are lots of ways to plug into your Neighborhood Association (NA) - Cherish Kirkland strongly supports the ability to gather nearby neighbors, share information and opinions, and strengthen each community’s voices on issues that matter to them. These orgs are 100% volunteer driven, hyper local non-profit organizations that exist to make Kirkland’s otherwise non-district apparatus of government more effective.
Stay tuned for news on City Council Candidate Forums hosted by NAs later this summer!
